  13. I've been having problems launching documents under Multifinder.  If my
  14. application is open and I attempt to open one of its documents (this
  15. application creates its own document type) from the desktop (i.e., not from
  16. within the application), I get a message like "Some documents could not be
  17. opened from the desktop.  Please enter the application to launch them."

  19. The text of the Open command within this application is not standard (It's
  20. "Open Collection").  I included a MSTR resource, locationg the menu and the
  21. command text for MultiFinder to use.  This, however, was not effective.

  23. To make sure I created the resources correctly, I changed the text of the open
  24. command to "Open", and this still had no impact.
  25.  
  26. Has anyone out there attempted to open a document that is specific to your
  27. application from the desktop WHILE the application is running?  If so, have you
  28. had any problem? How did you resolve them?

  30. Any help (or suggestions or advice) would be greatly appreciated.  I can be
